About Anna Petrova

Anna always knew her purpose was to help others. Every step of her education, work, and volunteer journey led to what she offers today through Anna’s Positive Solutions.


After earning her BA in Psychology, Anna began her career as a Learning Specialist, supporting students with learning challenges such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and weak processing skills. She has a natural gift for recognizing each child’s unique strengths and potential, approaching every student with empathy, patience, and genuine curiosity.


Working in learning centers gave her a deep understanding of the building blocks of learning — body–mind synchrony, processing skills, and executive functioning. Students grow not only academically, but also in focus, planning, organization, and self‑confidence.


These experiences led to Anna’s Positive Solutions, where students are met with encouragement, understanding, and practical strategies that truly work. Anna helps children discover their gifts and build the confidence to shine in school and beyond.


Families often describe Anna as warm, patient, and naturally able to connect with kids. She explains difficult concepts in clear, relatable ways, makes learning fun, and inspires students to feel capable, motivated, and hopeful about their potential.

With over 7 years of experience in reading and math support, Anna specializes in helping students build strong academic foundations and genuine confidence in learning. Her approach supports children of all abilities, and her students consistently make measurable progress — often improving one to two grade levels in a single school year — while developing the mindset and skills they need for long-term success.
