Frequently Asked Questions

Each student’s program is individualized to their particular needs, which will be determined during the introductory session. 

For noticeable progress, at least 2 sessions/week is usually recommended. 

To secure your monthly schedule, payment will be due on the first of the month, or at the start of the first scheduled session of the month. Sessions will not be held until payment has been received. There is no guarantee your preferred schedule will be held while we wait for timely payment.

Anna's Positive Solutions accepts Zelle, cash, or checks. Cash and checks will be accepted in-person at the start of the first planned session of the month. 

Prearranged absences in line with holidays or scheduled school breaks will not be charged. No cancellation or refunding of sessions will be permitted once the schedule has been secured. A (minimal) 24-hour courtesy notice should be given for missing a session due to unforeseen circumstances (sickness). Should an informed absence occur, it can be rescheduled within the month, based on availability. Missed sessions without any given notice are forfeited.

You will be provided advanced notice for any unexpected closure dates on behalf of Anna's Positive Solutions. Should a session be unexpectedly missed on our behalf, a reschedule will be offered or a session credit towards the next month will be applied.

All sessions begin/end on time, thus students should arrive/leave on time. If a student is late, extra time will not be added to the session.

Parents are encouraged to notice and celebrate the subtle, incremental changes. For your child, this might look like: getting ready for school without complaints, independently starting their homework, or being more observant and in tune with the world around them. More noticeably and with time, students usually exhibit more positive self-talk, desire to learn, and bragging about their good grades or latest accomplishments!

We appreciate you spreading awareness of Anna's Positive Solutions in your community! If a friend of yours begins services with Anna's Positive Solutions, you will be credited the referral rate during the following month's invoicing period. There is no limit to the amount of referrals/discounted months received.

The answer varies based on the level of need. Some families start with more sessions at first to create a strong foundation for success, then adjust to 1-2 sessions/week for long-term maintenance. We are striving for confidence and independence, so discontinuation of services comes when the student feels ready. Please acknowledge that long-lasting change in any area is never a "quick fix."
